Summary

The External Reference tab is displayed when you select an external reference.

List of Options

The following options are displayed.

Edit Panel

Edit Reference In-Place (REFEDIT): Edits an xref or a block definition directly within the current drawing.
Open Reference (XOPEN): Opens a selected drawing reference (xref) in a new window.

Clipping Panel

Create Clipping Boundary (XCLIP): Crops the display of a selected external reference or block reference to a specified boundary.
Remove Clipping (XCLIP): Deletes the clipping boundary.

Options Panel

External References (EXTERNALREFERENCES): Opens the External References palette.
